Please note this mod will bring up your core temps up for the main GPU chip due to more heat being transferred from the DDR6x chips on to the GPU Cooler. We find between 5-10 degrees extra under heavy mining loads. So gamers won’t enjoy this mod. Mainly for users that want to do GPU mining, Temperatures of the ddr6x memory chips sit at 72 C on average. Every card is different so your result may vary.

These results were based on the copper mod with 5w/mk thermal paste. Better thermal paste should give better results. Miner enclosed in a Mining Tent. Fans at 95%

Doing this mod requires advance users and you could damage your GPU if you don’t know what you doing. We accept no liability for damage to any GPU regardless of the conditions. Do at your own risk.

Cards can be sent to us and we will do the mod for you at an additional charge of R555. Your warranty will be voided.

Please don’t send us a broken card as all cards will be tested under mining condition for 2 hours before work is started - we will require your overclocking settings - Yes we already had someone try this. - We accept no liability at all. This is a high risk mod but with our Copper plates custom machined we minimise the risk. The plate sits secure and hugs the GPU chip so it can’t slide around.

We recommend Kapton tape to be used around all the Chips for extra protection. Place kapton tape on any capacitors sitting around the ddr6x memory modules.

These cards already had Gelid 12w/mk pads installed last year mid 2021 but Temperatures slowly started rising. GPU5 already modded with the copper shim. The tent was left open for extra cooling  in this pick.

After copper inserted with 5w/mk Thermal paste running for about 14 hours - Notice higher overclocks and cooler temps on memory tent closed.
